Hello Lovely People
Do you know where your relationship with your inner self is seated in your body? I am always interested in how people’s words and actions give away their views about themselves and their world.
I recently checked in for an international flight – economy class, which I will probably use even if I can afford business class. Most airlines give you the same value for money in both classes anyway, with a few added token gestures that relate more to the ego of the passenger than the service offered.
Behind me in the queue was a woman that I can safely describe as morbidly obese. I was in my own world and not even aware of her until she asked me why I did not have my luggage wrapped in plastic for additional security. Of course I can say to some people that security is an expectation and attitude rather than a roll of plastic and that I prefer using my angels for protection. She was not one of those people.
This was an early check-in with only one queue, and she did not enjoy having to wait behind me, since she was flying business class. She was going to insist on having her luggage wrapped for free, because “people steal” and after all, she “was entitled” to this additional service. The airline did not offer or pay for the wrapping service, but she did not care.
This woman was an excellent example of control that is centred in the base chakra. A chakra is a spinning energy wheel, and there are seven main chakras in your body. The base chakra can be found at the bottom of your spine and represents our basic, primitive needs for food, shelter, safety and security.
(If you want to feel a spinning chakra, rub your palms together quickly for about 20 seconds. You will feel a subtle tingling in your palms when you have speeded up the minor chakras in your palms.)
The woman passenger will eat anything she can get in any quantity, never questioning the effect on her struggling body. All her actions are based on the needs of “me, myself and I”, and the thought of considering others will not even cross her mind.
How can she move to a higher chakra? The next, sacral chakra is seated just below the navel. This chakra represents “me and my tribe”. When she becomes aware of being part of a bigger world, she will protect her children or protégés and share food and shelter with those people that are close to her. This is still along way from making the world a better place, but hey, one step at a time.
Until she feels secure in herself, this is the business class passenger who will demand extra services and attention for free, not because she cannot afford to pay, but because there is no space for anyone else in her world.
Love and Light
